Microstories: The World Ends

Big, round, and RED, it sits sanctimoniously in the middle of the desk. 

As he angrily barks out orders to his minions, Gordon's fat fingers ache with need, to finally wipe the slate clean.

He is tired; he wants to go home.

    Giant red clown nose thrown on the desk, after a long day of entertaining, as it's owner slowly becomes evil.

    It's the making of a great horror story.

    Not unlike our current political state...

  6. I'm with Nate - that last line was the thing that really connected for me. It makes Gordon a kind of everyman.

  7. I love how may possible interpretations there are and how the last line takes what could be a comic piece and turns it somber and relatable.
