Computer Genius

Andy Rooney created something called “The 50-50-90 rule: anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong.”  We want you to give us your own probability equation.  Use whichever numbers suit you, and make it about whatever you like, but give us something to think about.  In 33 words, of course.  My computer, Hal, Jr.,  is not feeling well this weekend, so guess what I wrote about?

My extensive computer skills:
Twenty-five percent
Head scratching,
Thirty-five percent
Following the tried and true adage:
When in doubt, reboot.
Twenty-five percent
Complaining loudly.
And fifteen percent
Getting my husband to fix it.

    1. My entire office thinks I'm the IT person, all because I do these things.

  2. You and me BOTH! I get so frustrated with electronics. My go-to fixers are the kids though. They act very smug and superior about it. I probably should not have written that because they are probably monitoring this somehow *looks over shoulder*

  5. Sounds like me, except I would never ask my hubby. He is more clueless than I. My 8 year old would fix it for me.

  6. I'm more in your 25% sectors. Scratching my head and complaining loudly. So I guess 50%. Oh, no, rebooting...

  8. I'm pretty much on my own with the computers. My husband knows less than I do :) The rebooting part is good - I love it when that actually works and makes me feel smart!
