Microstories: Mythos

Calypso stood vigil, silently waiting for the frigate to appear, returning her heart's desire. No entreaties moved her. The moon rose and set upon her still form, and the heat of the sun would not dry her tears.

She stands there still.

  1. Had to look up Calypso. I always think of the John Denver tune. Good use of 42 words. The graphic was a great accompaniment.
