The Nightmares of Silverware

The enormous woman with the fetid breath and rotting teeth picked up her napkin, and every place setting screamed in terror.  Their bravest spoon attempted to throw himself off of the table when the bisque arrived, but the gaping maw triumphed again.

Yeah, I don't know where the hell that came from.

  1. So descriptive and well written that I gagged with the thought of being that poor spoon.

Tina, this was really good. (Also, I liked your author's note. ;) )

  3. If, by chance, you find where it came from grab a few more like it and share them too. This was great!

  8. I loved it!
Especially your very last line "Yeah, I don't know where the hell that came from."
I had all sorts of funny visions that ranged from Disney's Beauty and the Beast (the song with the dancing place settings) to American Horror Story: Asylum.
I don't know how my brain works, either :-)
