Even though I hate talking on the phone, I end up making a lot of phone calls at work. Parents have to be kept in the loop, after all. So I grit my teeth and pick up that phone.
After the phone call is over, however, there are occasionally issues.
"If you have any other questions, please give me a call. I will talk to you soon."
"I look forward to hearing from you."
"Thank you."
"No, thank YOU."
"All right. Talk to you soon."
"Sure, you take care."
Goodbye already!
Finding a way to get OFF the phone is one of the reasons I hate talking ON the phone.
