This photo is a rare item. How rare? There are less than ten photos of my son and I in existence.
Why is that?
Mostly because I am usually the one behind the camera. My husband is more photogenic than me, and more comfortable in front of the camera. So I take lots of pictures of my boy and his dad.
But then I think about how my son might infer, from the lack of pictures, that I didn't want to be around him, or that I didn't love him. Nothing could be further from the truth.
What a cute picture and I don't think I've seen any of you two so I'm happy to have a face for your names. You are, too, photogenic! Zane's a doll! Take more.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great picture. I am also the one behind the camera most days. Funny though, a really good friend of mine was looking for pictures of her and her mom for her mother's funeral a few years back and she suddenly realized something.... she had been everywhere... Germany, FL, CA, the Vineyard.... and yet she hadn't been.
