No Recalculations

My feet march,
Forever treading
Unknown paths.
They will only
Stop at the very end.
The days will pass
Whether I will it
Or not;
I can never go back
To begin again,
As much as I
Desperately wish
It were so.

  1. Thats a piece of the human heart! How we all wish to go back and start again, how we all know that will never be possible. I like your take very much :)

  7. For some reason, I found this sadder than maybe I should have, yet also doggedly hopeful. That's a pretty complex collection of emotions for 42 words!
