Level Up!
I found this on thinkgeek.com, and I had to have it. I am an impulse buyer, but in a good way, because this is a really excellent button. When you press it the button plays sounds from World of Warcraft, indicating that you have earned enough experience points to "level up".
I like the idea of this.
What if we treated our every day lives like they do in video games? What if every mundane task was part of a quest? Then just brushing your teeth or making sure that your underpants were not inside out would feel epic.

ReplyDeleteI wish I had the organization gene, that urge to straighten disorder. But the level up buttoned sounds like fun. Or at least your son will enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteApparently I am not leveling up. Because as I discovered last night, I did indeed have my undies on inside out all day.
ReplyDeleteI will say this though, I think people would live much differently, both good and bad, if they knew they had multiple lives.
