Microstories: Housekeeping

I heard a distinctive bump one night.

I headed downstairs, to find my husband and son eating cake from my good china plates, and drinking the last cold milk.

"Hey," my husband groused, "When was the last time you did the dishes?"

  1. Cake on the good plates always tastes better anyway. ;)

And who has time to do the dishes when they're cake?
    Loved this.

  3. No, really, when was it? lol Often the only thing that comes between me and a dirty sink is the fancy china.
    Great bump, Tina!

  4. Haha...I guess you also hid the dishwashing soap from them? Good one :-)

  5. You should use your good china at times other than the holidays, right? Doing dishes is overrated anyway. Fun piece, Tina!
    P.S. Love Susan's comment, too!

  6. Ha. I hope you made him wash up. And get more milk. And put the kid back to bed after 400g of sugar in the middle of the night. :)
