Boy Meets Girl

This weekend for Trifextra, they are asking for 33 words about a new beginning.

Eyes meet across a noisy, crowded room.

Boy meets puppy, it's love at first sight.

Except there is a line to adopt,

interviews with the shelter, and

papers to sign first.

Finally, together!

  1. I like this! We experienced something similar when our sons got cats. It's been three years and they adore those pets :)

    1. Oh we have cats in the family, but the boy needs a dog to chase after. Cats don't really do that, unless they are the ones doing the chasing. :)

    1. No, nothing does. Zane would take Maisy to school with him if he could!

  6. That ten minute wait before it's official - torture, even if you're not a kid!

  10. Adopting a puppy is a process these days but it's always worth it in the end. :)

  11. Awww, puppies are awesome. We got one from a shelter years ago and had to wait for her to be fixed and get an ID chip, it was worth the wait though and my son loved her very much.
