Sometimes it's good to be out of the box, or rut, in this case.Julihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10097214923216967086noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1079589059457212218.post-26153718327496297082013-02-03T20:04:51.258-06:002013-02-03T20:04:51.258-06:00Comfy is sooo nice, but not all the time!Comfy is sooo nice, but not all the time!TMWHickmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11099277984216556857noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1079589059457212218.post-55591750869200472982013-02-03T20:03:13.308-06:002013-02-03T20:03:13.308-06:00You are welcome! You are welcome!TMWHickmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11099277984216556857noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1079589059457212218.post-66007834950989202582013-02-03T16:26:07.247-06:002013-02-03T16:26:07.247-06:00Really good point. I wonder about how many moments we miss when we're just puttering along in a grove, not noticing what we're passing buy. I, too, like your line about walking "next to the groove instead of in the rut."Larkshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01782254001145914109noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1079589059457212218.post-74211043040848236572013-02-03T15:45:52.702-06:002013-02-03T15:45:52.702-06:00"Sometimes it's better if I walk next to ..."Sometimes it's better if I walk next to the groove instead of in the rut." I really like that one. I think you have a point. It's good to be able to see the groove and have a routine, but at the same time, good that you can not get stuck in it. It lets you explore yet return to a safe familiar place.Hannahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09458016531572969978noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1079589059457212218.post-6419644065134062712013-02-03T15:30:24.843-06:002013-02-03T15:30:24.843-06:00That was a great twist. I definitely agree that when we are in a groove there is no reason to grow or stretch ourselves. When things are comfortable we want to stay comfy. To me, being in a groove means that you were once in a rut and now you're in a groove that's working for you. I'm going to think about your post. Thanks! I didn't think about it this way. I love how you end your post. I, too, would rather stay IN the groove by forging my own path OUT of the groove path.
